The expert estimators at our firm have the complete knowledge of construction techniques, wall alignments, lumber quality, temporary bracing, and reinforcement, and easily pinpoint the structural issues, product suitability, and substitutes.
Our estimation process starts with a review of drawing plans, material specifications, usages, field requirements, delivery sequences, etc. provided by the client to define the scope of work. This is followed by the on-screen takeoff using the latest software like Planswift, Bluebeam, Trimble, etc. to import the plans and accurately measure the dimensions.
All the lumber quantities required for framing are exported to EXCEL spreadsheets that are well referenced with color-coded plans. Our takeoff includes the breakdown of the following quantities but is not limited to:
